Finally got this one painted. The carve wasn't very detailed so it was hard to do the facial area. Have done a second carve that turned out a lot better and we'll see how the painting turns out.

Did a second one with a Best carve and got more facial detail, made the paint job a lot easier.

Very cool.
Just as an aside. My sister visited and took away the new mallet. Going to one of my nephews as gift from her. lol
