I bought A 3/16 cutting bit from Home Depot, it works great but can only cut 1/2" lumber, has anyone used a 1/4" cutting bit? or been able to cut 3/4" lumber?

It seems like it is time for new cut motor brushes, has anybody found alternative sources? Any help would be great!
My original Y belt on my A machine lasted me several years the last belt was just put on at the beginning of last summer and it has already shredded itself, I do regular maintenance on the machine...
it doesn't appear to have anything wrong
blew it out still getting lines....any other suggestions? can you get just the encoder without the motor?

I am getting undesired lines/ drag marks / scratches in the bottom of my carved region, They're only as wide as the bit being used different from the roller marks you get...
Has anybody come up with a way to extend the outfeed trays on your carvewright machine? I have my machine mounted on a small tool cart but I do most of my carvings in a shop with a slanted floor, so...

Does anyone know of a adapter that LHR suggests for 1/4 bits?

I was having the same issue with a card I got as a gift my PC can see it just fine but when I inserted into the CW it will not start up…… Sent the card to carvewright for testing as re-flashing the...

The shavings seem to be metal, the white gear looks fine the motor itself spins freely while plastic white gear is removed, has anyone been inside the gearbox itself?
It appears that the transmission area of my Y motor has frozen upon removing the motor some shavings came out at the gear area but the motor seems free, called CW today and they told me they are not...
to be honest i'm not 100% sure just noticed when i removed it

Yes, waiting for a bit is a bit disappointing but I can do it, have you ever been in this situation before? Do they charge you for a replacement bit do you know?
