Hi,

My name is Bob Hoering.   I have an older Carvewright machine that is in good condition.  Actually one of the first.  I live about 40 miles north of LHR where the machines are built.  My machine has been sitting in my spare bedroom and has not been used in awhile.  I have decided to sell it.

Whomever purchases the machine may have to buy Designer 5 which according to LHR will work fine on my machine.  I ran thru tests on my machine and it passed all tests.

Machine has only 32 hours on it,  includes the full set of bits in original case (cost $250+ at the time and many of the bits have not been used), a few extra routing and carving bits, 4 sand belts (new),  the hardware probe (never used) and a few pieces of acrylic with a sled I made.

I am asking $ 900.00 for everything.   Purchaser will have to buy Designer 5 ($300)  if they don't have it already.

I don't get on this forum very often so if you are interested you can email me at bobhoering@yahoo.com.

Thanks

Definitely a low mileage machine. I believe the buyer will be able to download a version 1.188 or one of that generation if my version number is wrong. That will allow them to do the basics such as create a carve and run it with the basic patterns that are provided with it. Above that a newer Designer will be required/purchased. I also don't believe the probe is transferable. A call to LHR can provide the info regarding what will work for a new owner of an older machine.

Thanks for the reply.

Carvewright support told me you cannot register 1.188 any longer (since June 2025) and unless you already have it you are out of luck and will have to buy Designer 5.    I missed the June deadline. I did have 1.188  but possibly the Windows 11 upgrade screwed things up.

I forgot to mention in my post that you have 1.188 already you probably don't need to buy Designer 5.

Thanks for that info.
