How do you make the screen smaller when you want to change the bit when you're designing a board? I can't make he screen smaller t hit the ok button once I've selected the bit I want to use.

Thanks in advance

I'm using version 3.106 and 1.188. I can open board settings, open the Pattern Bit tab and select another bit. After I click OK for the new bit it closes and I can change the view size of the board using the roller on my mouse which is the normal method. Same results using both versions. Not sure if this helps, hopefully somebody else will comment.

The easiest fix is to try holding the Alt key and pressing Spacebar, then select "Move" from the menu that appears. You can then use your arrow keys to nudge the window up until the OK button is visible. Alternatively, if you're on Windows, try pressing Windows Key + Down Arrow a few times to minimize and restore the window—this sometimes resets its position. Hope that gets you sorted

You need to change your screen resolution. Designer 5 is built for a minimum resolution of a 1440x900.

It sounds like the window you're using is too large for your screen resolution. Try one of these fixes:

  • Press Alt + Space, then press M, and use your arrow keys to move the window until the OK button is visible.

  • Temporarily change your display resolution to a higher one so the full dialog box fits.

  • If the software supports it, press Tab until the OK button is selected, then hit Enter.

  • You can also try dragging the window from the top to reposition it.

One of these should let you reach the OK button without resizing the whole screen.
