I am using a older machine with current firmware version 1.122 & I have purchased Designer 5. When I create a project and install the card in the CNC is firmware update needed and stops. When I view the card in designer 5 I can load projects on to the card no problem but I can't seem to download any firmware of the B machine I have or load any firmware update on it

Not familar with version 5 but in older ones you launch the program, under the header File click on Flash Manager. When the Flash Manager appears in the center there is an Icon for Firmware. Click on that and it will give you options for updating. Hope this helps.
