Hey geekviking,
Without the pattern of the other side of the M-16 You can only mirror
the side you have, you could try fudging out the receiver a little I suppose,
or just sand it off after the carve.

You need to make a PTN from Ken’s MPC or use the copy and paste function.
Starting a new MPC – or if you use Ken’s MPC then remove the cut paths and copy and paste the pattern to the (R) Rear View (Ctrl+Shift+R) then Flip Vertically (Ctrl+Alt+V)
Change the Depth setting to .500, Set Board thickness to one inch. (Cut paths will give a warning if over one inch).
On the front view use the outline function and reset the Cut paths.
To carve the stock the correct thickness you need to use a carving board (1.250 to 1.500 inch thick) You will get a warning that your board is too thick, I press try again and it should cut OK, but like Jeff’s warnings on workarounds you are carving at your own risk.
Just “Baby-Sit” your machine – push the STOP button if the tension gets too great.
Thanks for the pattern Ken, I need to carve a few of them and use up some of my Walnut stock.

Thanks for the info, I guess mirroring is the only option with only one side of an object.
Back when I was a boy, we carved our own IC's out of wood.
Before they invented drawing boards, what did they go back to?

I don't know if anyone else has ever made this pattern but I am sure there are some of us who can find a use for it!
