    Default Make Pattern

Trying to make a larger sign for a friend, when I try the make pattern the system pops up with the pattern is owned by someone else. Is this true for every CW bought pattern

Yes. You cannot make a pattern from a group of items that include a pattern created by someone else.

If you are just making a sign layout, why do you need to create a pattern that includes someone else’s pattern anyway? Can’t you simply create the layout as normal and incorporate the existing pattern in your design? Please let us know why you think you need to use the make pattern feature.

Perhaps we can help you with the layout. You can post the MPC here (you may have to zip it first).

Even a screenshot of your project may help us help you. You can go ahead and post that here, too.

Just a suggestion but, maybe something like this? It will probably take awhile to carve.

Looks great, how did you come up with the bee's. I'm doing shallow carves, that one looks time consuming. Just to make sure, you said I can't make my carving larger because someone owns pattern. Thank you for you help

Nobody said you can’t make your carvings larger - you had asked about the “Make Pattern” feature. That, of course, has nothing to do with resizing items in a layout.

don't you have to use the make pattern feature in order to make the pattern larger than 14.50 height.
