    Default Look at this

Was looking around and found somthing that looks like something I have seen before. I know it can't be what it looks like. Does anyone know anything about this.
Have talked with Sears but no help. Those people surely do have a one track mine.

    Default Sears parts

    Wilbur,

The adapters work on the CW/CC but the chuck is designed for Sears hand routers.

I ordered a set for my 1/4" sears router that I keep in a router table it works great for a QC, and I can change bits from the top of the table. Like Ken said the QC won't work with the CW. The price was about $9.00 then.

Those sets of 3 adaptors look like a good value if you have any bits that outlasted the QC bit-holder, i.e. caught a case of the ball-bearing divots.

It actually comes with 4 bit adapters! Kinda like getting 2 1/2 adapters for free! I got these a week ago to replace my cutting bit adapter and to have some spares.

I saw the price too. I knew the chuck would not work but at that price I could use the adapters. My 1/8 inch cutting bit broke, now I just need to find a good bit to put in the new adapters. I'll have to check the local tool shops when I finally get home from DC. Long trip!

Edit: Since this chuck uses the same bit adapters as the CW/CC is there any chance that, other than the mount, the other parts will work with the CW QC? I am going to buy a different chuck for my machine but will not be installing it until after I am out of warranty. I wonder if I could use the internal parts from this chuck to rebuild worn out parts in the CW QC? Any ideas?
