Try the full install, not the upgrade; that's what I had to do.
Do you have admin privileges with the account you are installing it with?
Full install, Thats what I had to do also, every time I update I have to do the full install, don't know why just do.

The last time I upgraded I had to install the full version instead of the upgrade version. I think at that time I could download the full version, not "TRIAL" version, directly from the site. Do I have to download the "TRIAL" version or is there a special place for registered users to get the FULL version?

The trial and the full versions are the same; it's just the registration itself that makes the difference.
I am getting the same message everytime I try. I sent an email to software support will let you know when I hear something or if someone already knows how to fix this please let us know
I seem to remember a recent post from someone(Can't remember who) with similar issues...They uninstalled the old version before trying to reinstall and all worked.
Keep in mind that this would require the full version, not the upgrade.

I am having the same problem and did not do the last upgrade either.
I filled out that form, got the email, went to the download, where it wants me to download version "designer_1_126.exe". This seems very wrong to me.
Advice please?
Greg.

The software you have on your machine is looking for the original install that was on your disc when you installed the software the first time. Since you are not installing from a disc here it cannot find what it is looking for. Uninstall the version you have on your computer and install the full installation package.
In the past I've also run into issues like this that were because Installshield was messed up.
