    gcioffi,
    If you have not downloaded the CarveWright Manual, go here and get the download file.
    http://carvewright.com/cms/downloads

    After you download the PDF file go to page # 29. It should be where it begins to talk about Project size v/s actual board size (Workpiece Perparation).
    The drawing(s) show the Project size on the Left and the project plus the 17.79 CM (A+B) "Scrap, or uncut ends" that are needed to keep the project under the rollers on the Right drawing. If this extra length is not on your actual board, the machine will start asking if you wish to reduce the actual size of your project to "FIT" the board you have loaded into the the machine.

    See if this PDF now makes sense to you.

    Yes, that is correct, and it is a MUST - otherwise you will invite all kinds of problems/issues. Later, after you have gained some experience with the machine, you may want to build sleds to "simulate" the extra length as far as the machine is concerned.

    gcioffi,

    Lei ha scelto all'autojig nel software? Se così, scalerà il progetto sulla macchina.

    Lei è corretto. Lei dovrà aggiungere 8,9 cm alla sinistra e la destra. 8,9 è il minimo.

    Concerning the translators, when I used the link posted it reads;

    To suppress the project to restrict when she chooses to be under the rolls, she should add at least 8.89 cm to the board that she places in the car. So, if its project is 12 cm in the length that she should place a 21 board of cm in the car.

    When I use http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_txt it reads;

    In order to repress the plan to shrink when it chooses to be under the seams, it must add 8,89 at least cm all' axis that it places in the machine. Thus, if its plan is 12 cm in the length that it will have to place 21 axis of cm in the machine.

    I just think the Babble Fish is more accurate, but since I don't know what you started with maybe not

    bob,

    Each web translator sight is going to read the information differently. I haven't tried using babelfish yet, but will give it a shot.
