Thread: sandpaper?

    Default sandpaper?

    hey folks...

    completed .. 3 small projects 3/4 pine..soft.. combined project time 4.250 run time..

    noticed front roller paper / sides have torn away and are starting to tear..

    is there anything i can check to see why//or is this normal wear?

    there is a link in the fix it pdf for taking off the sandpaper track. although you should get a beta tester to confirm this: i think you have to take the sand belt off and simply adjust it.

    You can take a rasor blade to the torn part and remove it w/o taking the whole thing apart. Contact CW tomorrow for a replacement.

    sandpaper i have the latest ver just up dated again
    try to doit all but only what i can

    This kind of wear is often normal over time with use.


    To troubleshoot, you could check the roller alignment, ensure there's no debris or obstructions, and inspect the roller condition. If the damage seems excessive, you may need to replace the roller or have the machine serviced.

    Regarding your notice that the front/side paper stripes have been torn and are continuing to be torn, this may be a normal phenomenon due to wear and frequent use. Check to see if the wheels are worn or worn. If necessary, replace them. Proper lubrication will help reduce wear so check that moving parts are adequately oiled/lubricated. Replace worn or deformed paper clamps. Check to see if the paper tension is correct. If it's too loose or too tight, readjust it.
