Here is where I get most of my litho lighting material from: https://www.superbrightleds.com/

George,
What would you suggest for a 5" X 8" Litho box?
What do you use for reflection - aluminum foil or plastic?

Ken,
I have used the SMD 3528 (NFLS) natural white strips and they work great for any litho backlighting. They can be cut at every third light so you can use on just about any size box. As for reflection I found a 30" x 100' roll of "SILVER MIRRORIZED METALIC FILM" at www.papermart.com.
I have also bought some LED's and other needed materials from www.ledwholesalers.com.

Thank you George, I have two to make in the near future.
I haven't carved any lithos in a couple og years, never have made an enclosure.

Ken,
Instead of making the boxes I have found it is much easier and, in most cases, cheaper to go to a hobby store (Michael's, Jo-Ann's, etc.) and buy the unfinished boxes and picture frames that fit the size litho. I then cut the top out of the box and glue the picture frame onto it. It's cheaper and easier this way because you don't have to buy the hinges and hasps (expensive). They are already fitted to the box...
George
That's Cool!
