    Default The Squarest Pumpkin in Town...By J.D. Link Designs

    I just finished painting this guy...I used photos of pumpkins to make the MPC files. I left a little bit of wood in the carved out region of his face so when back lit it will shine through. The pine actually has an orange glow to it when we light it up at night. If i can get a picture tonight I will post it later.

    That is AWESOME!!!! I would have never thought of doing something like that.

    Dimensions? What are you using for a light source?

    its 10x10x10.5...3/4 pine. The light Source is a LED battery operated colman camp lantern that i took the top and glass off of and laid inside at an angle. It worked surprisingly well.

    Great idea. It will also be harder for those kids to smah the square pumpkins.

    thanks everyone... the orange paint is two different colors of spray paint and the stem and cut outs are interior house paint. Just some stuff I had laying around.
