Just playing around today and low and behold it works! Just think of the new possibilities. Of course, I'm the first to state that I'm not a painter nor do I intend to be, but I do feel like an artist making this work. Please excuse the mess on the front of the lithophane, it has been sitting in my shop for several weeks and I can't get off what I spilled on the litho. The picture was of the child eating spaghetti and getting it all over his face, shirt and bib. Maybe, If I continue this avenue I may have a professional painter try her hand at this to see how close she can come to the actual details. She has been teaching painting for over 30 years and works with all mediums.
