Thread: How much are those sand paper belts?

Default How much are those sand paper belts?

I was running my 1st long, long board thru, and the tracking got off, and wrinkled up the left sand paper belt. Anyone know of that'll be covered under warranty, and also how much are they?

They are not covered under warranty. The belts are considered consumables, I believe. When I replaced mine after 450 hours they were $15.

belts are not covered under the warranted parts of the machine. They are about $26 per set and that includes shipping. I think when I bought mine they were $14 and $12 for shipping. They also have new kevlar belts but they run about $99 a set I think.

    Good luck

    TurtleCove,

You can reuse the belt after cutting of the damaged part!

I'll give it a shot, Doc.
I'll read the .pdf on how to get it off, then trim off the bad part, and give it a 'go' again.

    Sound good?

Cutting off the damaged part will keep you going for a while but you gotta admit, those new kevlar belts are pretty cool.

I agree! Those new belts are pretty cool! I have yet to see a pair get messed up, even with all the testing that gets done!

I did exactly what you said and got a few more weeks out of the belt. I eventually changed the new belt out for a good one and it is operating just fine

The new belts look like a great alternative to the current belts.
