    If I make sled for a project I'm working on can it be wider than the project?

    Mike,

    Your sled can be up to the maximum carving width (14.5") of the machine.

    Your sled can be up to the maximum carving width (14.5") of the machine.
    (14 5/8") is about the max but (14 3/4") will fit if needed.
