I've been using all of the above, even cutting out 3/4" circles from 3M pads for my cordless dremel.
Ps. I also used Bjbethke's suggestion of making my own Sanding Mop (it works great) Thanks BJB

How does cutting out 3/4" circles from 3M pads work in the small crevices?
Where do you find them in bulk as in your picture?
So far they've been working quite well, they do a fine job of getting the fuzzes out of the crevices.
I only wish they would last a little longer, some of the Hardwoods eat them up in short order.
That's one of the reasons I buy several pads at a time from Scotch 3M Co.,
we also use a ton of them around the shop for metal working.
I normally punch out a dozen or two -3/4" circles at a time and use 3 or 4 per project - depending on its size.
I would suggest buying one or two pads and try them out.
If you can use various speeds with them to see what works best for you.

Mike,
I've been trying to find a source for those discs but all I'm finding is kits containing things like mandrels (I have my own), combination deals with a mix of grits (I'd like to purchase single grit packages) and deals in which the requirement is a minimum of 96 discs at a time.
Isn't there a seller of the discs who's willing to sell, perhaps a kit of 10 single grit discs without all the other things?
I'd be happy to buy 96 discs if I knew they were going to be the right thing for my work. In the meantime I'd like to try them out.

You can't have EVERYTHING - where would you PUT it?
You can't really use regular Dremel mandrels. You need VERY long screws to make it through the whole stack of discs. I forget where I bought mine from, I'll look and see...

I think most folks order them online from Otto Frei. I use the 80 grit then often followup with the 220 grit. (I've found that grits finer than 220 don't work all that well on wood.)

I actually order my own discs and mandrels from McMaster because they are so close to me I get them the next day via UPS Ground.
Here is the link for their website: http://www.mcmaster.com/
You have to do a search for the part numbers (they have so much stuff, it takes forever to find it on your own!)
Yellow 80 grit 3M discs- McMaster Part # 4494A19
Red 220 grit 3M discs - McMaster Part # 4494A18
The discs mount on a 3/32" shank diameter Mandrel. (McMaster Part # 4494A44)
