    Default Sled/jig question

What project thickness does one use in Designer when using a sled or jig to hold a project? For example, if the project board is 1/2" thick and the sled/jig base is 3/4", does one use 1/2" or 1 1/4" in Designer for thickness?

    Thanks,
    Rocky

    Default sled

You need the thickness of the sled base plus the project.

Actually thickness in designer doesn't matter.

I'd use the thickness of the actual board so I could set up depths correctly for my design. When the CW carves it will measure the thickness and use that and ignore what you put in designer.

yes it does if your drilling you will get errors from time to time, so set to the total thicknes ot the sled in designer.
