    Default Sanding Questions

This may have been brought up before but I haven't been around in a while so I thought I would see what people use these days.

1.)Sanding: what are you using, dremel, rotozip, etc.

2.)Sealer: Anyone using sealer before staining projects?

    1) I use a sanding mop and files as well as sandpaper or sandpaper sponges. Just depends on the carve and the area.

    2) Depends on the out come I'm looking for. You get different results both ways.

1.)Sanding: what are you using, dremel, rotozip, etc. - Dremel - yes, with assorted bits and sanding wheels (3M and homemade from ScotchBrite Pads) (Rotozip???- I don't think so!)

2.)Sealer: Anyone using sealer before staining projects? - Yes - Bullseye Sanding Sealer - one light coat (2 parts sealer/3 parts Denatured Alcohol)
