    Default Police and Fire prayer

Here are two projects, since I was inspired by Chris in this post.

Thanks for sharing the MPC Chris. I tweaked Chris’s mpc a little to fit my Board, and was afraid how the lettering would come out being so small. After it was done I realized I couldn’t leave out the Fireman, so I sat down and started to figure out Corel. I imported an image from the web and tweaked, saved, then imported to designer. This time I figured it was time to quit wasting wood, so I added side pieces and end pieces with double sided tape and then added masking tape (first time I have done this). Overall it came out well, BUT always use a vector picture! I had pits in my edges from the pixels not being clean, I sanded and finished and will give this one to the volunteer station down the road from me. Also I used sealer on the Fireman prayer before paint, (I believe one of the Ken's posted about it). So all in all a good learning experience.

    So what did I learn.
On the next two, I will add the ‘frame’ around the Policeman’s shield to use the fullest of my board.
I will vector the image for the fireman and import it again into Designer.

Thanks again Chris for the inspiration and sharing.

If it doesn't fit force it. If it breaks then it needed replacing anyway.

Very nicely done, and the text looks crisp and without any chipping.

    Hi forqnc

That's a great job and I love the change in shape. Glad the MPC came in handy.

Thanks guys, I am really impressed with centerline. The pictures show them off better than the eye, this time, as there was a little chip out on both. I also believe the style of fonts have a lot to do with getting good results.
So I look forward to more practice

Fonts make all the difference for sure. I spent hours picking the one I used.
