Help Scanner for First Time

I may not have had the detail set to "Best" on the Indian buckle. I just tried another buckle of Busch Beer Mountains set at best and I think it is better than the first. I may try the Indian head again and make sure the setting is at best.
But so far, I'm satisfied for the first few tries

I think the detail on your scans are coming out much better than mine did. Are you having to clean them up after the scan? is the one i did and it just seems to be lacking the detail.
