I have been looking for 1/4 corian. All I have been able to find is 3/4 and that was at a counter top store. Any ideas where I should look. BTW I live in south Fl just north of Miami.
Thanks

kculm,
Although it can be found through local dealers, most of us get it from eBay according to the previous posts on this subject.

Like the others I have bought some on Ebay. I also keep a check on several local auctions where people bring in their 'cleanouts', everything from estate leftovers to businesses cleaning out storage/surplus. Got lucky recently on 1/4 white corian and got 2 pieces 24" wide by 98" long along with 2 pieces 36" X 36" for $16. Allowed me to make several 13 X 21 lithos. There a lot of other pieces in various colors and thicknesses, am assuming a shop cleaned out surplus. One thing I noticed was the sheets were stamped 'This side to wall' , never thought about what 1/4 would be used for commercially. Anyway, you might want to keep an eye out on any auctions in your area, even ones that sell of items from self-storage units.
Luck, Rick H.
Good advice, also try your local kitchen/bath installers as the 1/2" left overs they have usually get sold, but the 1/4" is not as popular and therefore they end up with more surplus or just seem to throw it away, sometimes you can get it for dirt cheap. The 1/2" usually gets carved into cutting boards, etc. but the 1/4" we like really is too thin for that.
BTW- the 1/4" is used as backsplash & decorative wall tile in nicer showers & bathrooms.
Back when I was a boy, we carved our own IC's out of wood.
Before they invented drawing boards, what did they go back to?

I just got a good supply of 1/4" corian. I have many color including bone and white. They seem to be the most desired color. I sell on ebay but if you buy direct from me I can give better prices then ebay since I won't have to pay ebay cost. Email me at lmbkb@comcast.net
