    Default Quick Question ???EDGE ROUT

    Hi Carvers !!!!!!!!!!!
    I Have A Question for Edge Routing !!!
    I Have Made 60-70 plaques Projects , Lithos etc ...
    I Am Just Wondering does anybody use the EDGE ROUT option is it worth the time and bit change is it fast accarate etc ..
    Ive never used it but ALMOST tryed It ..
    Im Just wondering if there is an atvantage, CW verses a router table seems My router table is more acurate and a whole bunch faster ?????

    Also Will CW Edge Rout Them Fancy Coners And Curves as it is a challange on a router table .. ( Have to remove gaurd and fence etc)

    Im Presently doing them with hand held router ???

    Just Wondering If Anybodys Using Edge Rout ?????

    As Ive said Before The Best Part of this Machine is the PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM You Guys and girls are Great !!!!!!

    I've used it to rout the outside edges with great results
    Still using 1.120 & 1.126

    I used the edge route a couple of times. The finish is excellent. It is very slow because it makes so many passes. It also requires another tool change. I use a router table because it's much faster.

    If you are satisfied the hand router I'd say stick to it.

    Default Edge Routing

    I will have to agree that routing the edges on a project is faster with a router. Performing edge route mode on the CC/CW will increase your hours on the machine. I Personally use my router to dress-up all projects. It's faster and cleaner.

    I use the edge rout very often. It is slow but very clean.
