    Hello,

I finished the "CarveWright 2D Suite Drawing Tools Overview" Tutorial video. There are two versions...one is a streaming video with a Table of Contents that makes it convenient to click and go to a section on the video. The other is a downloadable 88 MB WMV that you can store and watch on your own computer. (The WMV filetype doesn't support the Table of Contents function, but you can scroll through the video manually, as normal.)

It has been posted at CarveBuddy and Jason's website, so far. I think CarveWright will have it posted soon, as well.

The video covers all five of the main tools included in the CarveWright 2D Suite. The video is about 40 minutes in length and features examples and tips of how each tool can be used.

    The five primary tools are:

    • Offset Path Tool
    • Trim Vector Tool
    • Smart Spline Drawing Tool
    • Copy-Offset Tool
    • Import Tracing Image Function/Tool

Right ON! Well, since it's about 40 minutes long I'll wait until the morning... sounds like the perfect way to start my day!

Great job on the tutorial!! The more I see of these new tools, the more ideas I get that even I might be able to implement.

    Thanks again,

Default Designer Tip - Keyboard Edge

Some folks say "I drew a figure, but I want to turn it 90 degrees and it won't let me!"

I made a 236 MB lesson titled "Designer Tip - Keyboard Edge" to help avoid this problem before you begin your design. This is not a must-do thing, but it will sure help keep some people more sane!

I made an earlier lesson titled "Rotate a Connected Line Figure", which shows how to recover if you failed to think ahead on this or some prior similar project.

You will find the lesson in my "Download" link below.
