Thanks Bud, I am learning the new tools through your lessons and I sent the link to all of my customer service reps, so they could learn how to use (and support) it too.

One other thing I noticed on this lesson and I thought you were headed there, but you didn't quite go there. You tried to tilt your wind pattern to the same slope as the textured rectangle slope by using Merge > Additive, but it picked up the textured pattern, which you didn't want. You could use that same tilt tool and tilt the wind pattern (just as you tilted the rectangle) and not have gotten the texturing on your pattern.

I noticed that too, but just assumed Bud was intentionally showing us the method he did. I probably would have used the tilt on the wind ptn, but there is more than 'one way to skin a cat' as we are all learning!

I spoke to Bud earlier today again - he tutored me a little on the "think out loud" approach to making tutorials. He is a MASTER at that and is one reason we all enjoy the videos so much - we can tell exactly what he's thinking as he guides us through the tutorials!

My target is/was the folks that have or want a Rotary Jig, however, other members will see some of the new software applications as well. I applied both the 2D Copy Offset tool as well as the 3D Extrude Tool. I also used the Make Pattern function several times.
