Thread: Molding

  1. Default Molding

The main reason I began looking into the CW was to have small molding reproduced for antique furniture and old homes. Is there anyone out there that has reproduced old molding????? Please advise.

    Hello refinisher,

I've not done that personally, but I know a couple simple ways how to...

    1) Take out a section of the original moulding and scan it with the scanning probe to make a pattern

    2) Make a mold of the original, make a cast of the moulding, then scan the casting to make a pattern

    Does this help?

and don't forget to purchase the probe first, alone with the cw.
