    Default Only Real complaint

    well got my machine thursday have 3 hours carve time on it and it appears something has died no LCD panel. I knew this was a possiblilty. But no [hone support on sundays this stinks guess what is really going to be killer is i took vacation time this week just so i could play on my new machine

    Left it unplugged for and hour plugged back in and there was nothing.
    Did that because i didnt trust it there by itself plugged in and knowing there was a problem. you know us firemen dont trust faulty electrical stuff

    First, have you tried adjusting the contrast knob? The screen might be so dim you can't see it. Second, try turning the machine on without the card installed (do not pull card out after it is on), and try playing with the contrast. You should see a row of solid black squares on the top line of the LCD. If you don't it's probably the power supply. Some folks have had the power supply conk out. Give CW a call tomorrow and they can help you out.

    I forgot to mention it died mid carve. found it DOA in middle of the board
