Received my probe, where is serial number

Well, I'm feeling rather inadequate. I can't find a serial number to register my probe in the "Register an Accessory" dialog box. Is there supposed to be a sticker on the probe, engraved, a piece of paper, etc. Do I still need to install the software on the CD that came with it, all the posts I read said you just need to register the probe. Thanks.

Hi Zeke,
If I remember right it is on the CD that came with the probe. There is an activation code on the page that you can put into the Designer to unlock the probe software.

The release code is on the back of the paper envelope which the CD is in.

You will be happy with the new tools.
