Looks GREAT! That is a project in the future for me. Your laundry room looks simular to mine and will be a simular project. Foaming at the mouth to get started on it now. Dang gum it!

    Thanks Al and smoken D.

Smoken, if you installed a counter top over the washer and dryer as I did, does it collect "stuff" like mine does all the time?
My wife is a good cook and I encourage her to get new cookbooks. Problem is that there are now so many I have to build a bookcase for them so that I can have room for other things. It took my awhile to clear enough stuff out from under the cabinet to take the picture without embarrassment.

WOW! That is a BIG project - very nicely done, Ken! Can you visit again and do our laundry room cabinets, please?

Well done Ken! I know what you mean about not being too eager to do another project like it for a while.

    Thanks Michael and Terry,

Michael, not sure if I would be headed back down that way anytime soon, besides, I imagine that you would not be in GA if I did.
Have you decided on a new location?

That project was my first time doing raised panel doors, using a router table one-handed, and using "European" hinges.
Needless to say, there is a "uniqueness" in every door.

Another thing that I learned is that Lactic Acid does not lighten the darker areas common with poplar boards.

Terry, maby some more of that wine would help!

    Beautiful Job Ken!

I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.

In your first photo, is that framework serving as a sled?

Next, beside carving the ovals did you also carve the raised edge?

    Again, beautiful job!

    Thank you my friends,

Jim, the first photo is the board for both the large and small carvings taped to two side rails. These two side rails have pieces of 1.5" masking tape on the ends for the length sensors and one of the side-rails has tape in the bottom full length to help Al survive.
Here is a picture of the board just before putting it in the CC.

As I said, I chose to have the CC carve all of the panel face rather than trying to hold it securely with one hand using a raised-panel bit (although I might now try it).

I also included the mpc without the patterns for your inspection.

    Ken;
Know what you mean. There already is a cabinet set above her washer/dryer, but the raised panel is not carved. I seem to want to carve everything anymore. So much to do, so little time to carve. Today glued up 6 different frames for carving up projects. Machine gonna be busy starten tomorrow. Seeing yours makes me wanna get started on raised panel doors! Family coming in tomorrow night and Saturday going to Dolly Parton's Show in Branson Missouri with the grandkid. That'll be fun!
