    Default Found bolt...help please:)

I went to clean my machine after a carving and found a bolt lying on the sandpaper. I think I am glad it didn't manage to be drug underneath

Anyway, I cannot figure where it came from. I say it is a bolt because it is not pointed. It is phillips head and it is a rounded head. The threads are fine and level rather than twisty like a screw and it is 3/4" long, including the head. All the screws or bolts are in the back, the screws or bolts that hold the cover at each side are in place, there are no empty holes into which it would fit on the glide plate or the frame for the sandpaper roller. The part with the bit seems to have all its parts except there is an empty hole on each side at the top...maybe those are guide plates.....but those holes are empty on both sides. That leaves ?? up inside somewhere and I don't know where or how to begin to ......any ideas anyone?

Hanna, check your switches on each side. The cover switch left side or the cut motor switch right side. It sounds like one of those, they should have 2 in each switch.

I think I found where it goes. At the top of that whole Z truck mechanisisum , there are two holes, one on each side. They look like they are just empty holes, but on closer inspection, from the front side you can see that there is a bolt in there, but it doesn't protrude at all, in fact it doesn't even come all the way to the front........in my case, only on one side had a bolt in it. I put it in there and it fit........guess I will try it......****shake****

    Thanks RC
