An observation on %done display

While the machine is carving is raster mode it shows %done on the LCD. While watching it carve last night (it never gets old) I noticed that the %done is updated by the number of Y-axis passes done NOT the actual percentage of linear travel done. Not a big deal either way, just an interesting observation.

I noticed that, too. The percentage doesn't really relate to the time left.

I have also noticed that but I figured what it meant was that it already knows the number of passes it has to do for the pattern it is working on so it is subtracting the ones that are done from the total and figuring a %.
