    Default Hokie carving

    Here is the Hokie bird carved in cherry and using bombay mahogany, provincial and puritan pine stains..

    Sorry,This one was carved in pine not cherry..The cherry one looks better but this one did pretty good

    Looks good, That's one tough looking bird.
    Thanks for the new photo's
    HINT: please turn off the flash when photographing glossy objects. The glare can ruin a nice picture.

    That looks very good. I am very happy with how that carves. Good work natman.

    ((Generally I would agree with Gman, but in this case I am glad for the glare because it shows the tail feathers more clearly.))
