Cut outs question.

Ok guys. What am I doing wrong. I have an oval in an oval to leave an oval frame around a pic I'm doing. Selected the outer oval, clicked cutpath. Even went into carve list and made sure the outer oval was last on the list. When the machine asks for a bit it asks for the cutting bit first instead of the carving bit. I assume if I let it go it would do the cut out first which doesn't sound like a good idea to me. It should do the cut out last I believe but I can't seem to get it to do it in that order. Running 1.12 software. Any suggestions?

That's normal, it will do the bit finding routine with the 1/8" cut out bit and then ask for the carving bit and do the same. After it checks all bit it will start carving. The cut out is always last.
