Default Rock chuck collets - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Hope I’m posting in the right area. I’m looking for collets for the Rock Chuck. I have the 1/4” and the 1/8” but would like to have the 3/16” and maybe a 3/8”. Ron Justice (maker of the Rock Chuck) has been gone from the forum for years. Would anyone know where to find these collets or have any willing to sell. Thanks

Also does anybody know if the link ( http://www.cw-parts.com/index.html ) is still good? I do believe it was run by Ron Justice.

It is up but not really active. Ron has been AWOL for a couple of years now. There have been a few that did place orders and has to spend several months trying to get the charge transaction reversed.

Yes, please do not place an order. It will take your money but Ron is not Monitoring it. He had a House Fire a few years ago and never started back up with the Rock.

If you ever update to a CarveTite, I am buying any ROCK Parts. I have a bunch. Only one 1/8 and two 1/2. The rest are 1/4 inch.

    Good Luck,

I can't think of a manufacturer off hand, but you should be able to find a 1/2" to 3/16" reducer collets that will work.
Machinist supply places might have them, I think Amana tools might make some too.
It will have more collet sections than Ron's but they should all work.
I have one that I recall using in the past, I think it might be the 3/16" one too.

You're gonna want something high quality with tight tolerances though, I personally wouldn't mess with buying cheap one off of eBay for example.

Edit: Musclechuck is another company that I think might have reducer collets
Edit, again: Also have a look at Eliminator Chucks, he makes reduces too.
    Edit, 3rd time's a charm: I think Whiteside is what I'm using for my 3/16" https://www.whitesiderouterbits.com/products/6395

ER11. Many collet sizes available. I have one similar to this for my CarveTight spindle:

I did get mine from eBay but is of high quality.

Oh, that would be a handy setup!
A hook style spanner is much easier to use on those ER-11 collet nuts than those castle style ones that come with it, unfortunately I can't remember what size it is that works on them.
I don't have any ER-11 collets at home, but I do use them at work.
