    Wink First project

So, my father in law had an old Honer accordion And the grill fell apart so I took a shot at creating a new one with my carvewright. Had problems with screen overlap.

Awesome project. I'm sure he really appreciates what you've done. To be able to save the instrument is great.

Great job, it feels awesome to save items from the landfill and make them look great again. As far as your issues with the grill, I am thinking wood choice may be the problem. To me it looks like oak was used. The coarse grain of oak seems to not like fine carving work. Finer grain wood like maple would do finer detail carvings.
