The Q C chuck has removable bits. There are two set screws that hold them in. They use Loctite to keep them tight. The bits can found on EBay, but do not have the flat on them. The flat can be ground in to the shank. The holders and chucks can still found out there. I have a few myself. As far as buying used bits, there can be an issue with how sharp they are. If you stay with the Q C chuck make sure to keep it lubed with a good dry lube. If you switch to the new chuck system, you will need to make sure that you have the A907 upgrade installed already. This is only needed on the older A models.

The A907 is a change from the 18 pin thin wire flat FFC Cable to a 14 pin with thicker conductors and the circuit boards for both ends. The 18 pin will work but the thin wires snapped easier and caused carving problems.
