    Default Depth of Text?

    Good morning

Is there a way to see what the depth of carve is on text?

Can that depth be changed or regulated?

Can the feathering be minimized or disabled on text?

Yes there is a way to see the depth of text or anything else on the display board. Move the mouse pointer over the area that you want to know about. In the bottom left corner of the designer screen you will see a set of 3 numbers. The first 2 are the X and Y coordinates of the location and the 3rd number is the depth at that location. To be more accurate at getting to the location turn off the perspective view. View tab, toggle perspective view.

Centerline text depth can not be manually changes. The depth is set by the font style, size of the font and the bit selected to carve it. All other types of text carving style you control the depth in the depth input box.

Feathering can be turned off with the "none" selection on the feathering tool.

Thank you. I didn't even notice those numbers down there before.
