Domes and textures

Hello fellow carvers.

I have come here often for advice and there has always been an answer but I have not been able to find one
for this problem, my guess is I'm doing something wrong. I have a
project that requires a double down dome and when I add texture to
the done I lose the dome when I adjust the texture so I can see the
carving. There must be a way to merge the texture to the dome. Any
ideas?
