I got some Corian (from CW) to do some lithopanes (new grandchild). I did one with a 1/32" bit, it looks great. I tried a second, and when I checked it out 1/3 of the way done, it wasn't carving anything. The tip of the bit had broken off. I stopped that one, restarted with a new 1/32" bit, and the top of that bit broke off as well.
Either Corian is hard on the very thin tip of the 1/32" bit, or I had something else wrong on that second carve. Perhaps I had the Corian in the jig slightly differently. Has anyone else had any problems with that? Or have you all been using it successfully, in which case it's my problem. If anyone has any other ideas, I'll take 'em.

In the end, I restarted that carve a 3rd time with the normal 1/16" bit, and it still looks great. Love those lithopanes.
