Could someone please send me a link to a simple tutorial on how to create a vector from a logo. I tried using the *outline pattern* and assigning a 60d bit but it is very jagged. I do have the Gimp program but, still learning. Thank you in advance

The quality of the image outline is probably do to the quality of the image. Small size and low resolution images do not do well. When you do an "outline" you are creating lines on both sides of an image line. Then you would probably need to edit it to remove some of the extra lines to make it carveable. I've done several this way in Paint.net and did need to edit after bring the image into designer and doing the pattern outline.

This might help but is not really a tutorial of sorts. https://vectormagic.com/
