    Default can't calibrate rotaty jig?

I keep getting range error and mark is about 30 deg off? Haven't done rotary in some time. Had this trouble before and don't remember how I fixed it.
    thanks

Almost always, due to the rotary improperly placed in machine. Double-check.

I checked the screws and retightened with a hand driver. Turns freely. Aligned correctly, but each time I reinstall the jig it acts differently - 60 deg past or 160 deg off. Moved from the C machine to the B. Cal rotates 2 1/2 revs then rotates at a creep and won't stop ignoring any key input - power off to stop. Retired and when, cursering to divot, starts rotating slowly and won't /can't stop? Measures a flat board just fins and just finished carving a project. Tried calibration with two different cards.
Really strange? I need to do at least 7 rotary carves for grand (and greatgrand) kid Christmas presents.
