Default Machine stuck in "Scan Area" mode.

When I turn my machine on the Menu Display goes to "Accessory Menu" 1) Scan Area. I do not know why and I cannot get out of that status to go to "Projects". In fact the only place I can go is "Options" but, nowhere else. I have rebooted. no help. formatted the card and reinstalled the firmware. no help.
Apparently there is memory in the machine that holds the machine in that "Accessory Menu" mode. Anybody know how to get unstuck from this?

Thanks very much for the help! I still do not know how I got to the place I was in the menu.

Glad you got it corrected. Hard to say why it got reset.

That Error came up when we changed from the 18 pin FFC Cable to the 14 pin Cable and changed the circuit board on both ends.

FYI for those that might find themselves stuck in the Scan mode - press 0-5-3 on the keypad.
