Default Moving Spindle to Change Bit

I know that it will move to the center with it prompts me to change a bit - but sometimes I want to change the bit when the spindle is positioned on the far left - is there a way to move the spindle to the center?

The install bit position is when the truck is in the center of the machine. Trying to move it to another location when it is asking for the bit to be installed could/might cause a stall error.

What is the reason you are wanting to change this?

I think you can move the spindle anywhere you like. The machine knows where the truck is and will simply return to doing whatever it was doing before the pause.

When carving is finished - the truck ends up on the far left - sometimes I like to replace a 60 vee bit with my Carving bit - how do I move the truck to the center?

Just move it by hand. Whether the machine is off or on does not matter. (It is a little easier to move if it is off.) Move it anywhere you want and leave it anywhere you want. It does not matter.

Its not recommened to move any axis on a cnc machine by hand..you should, always move axis via xyz machine controls.
