Default Edge Rout doesn’t make 90 degree corners

When I finish my carving - I use the Edge Rout icon to put a border around my carving- but it doesn’t make square corners- see my pics. What should I do ?

That is do to the size and profile of the bit. I do all of my edge routing on the router table, not the CW.

The machine thinks that it is routing around the edge of the board (the virtual board in Designer). If your real board was the same size as the virtual board, the over routes would be in space! I think the edge route only works right if the virtual board and the real board are the same size.
