I haven't done a lot of vector tracing, and I haven't had time to use my Carvewright much in recent years until recently.
So I've been practicing and relearning the software again.
I saw some pinstriping on a motorcycle awhile back and thought it would make a cool vector carve design.
I didn't recall seeing anyone else try it so I thought I would share my experiment.

Below is my first attempt.
This is not what I think of as the quintessential pinstripe, but the low level of complexity seemed like a pretty good plan to practice on.

I imported the image and traced it using the Smart Spline tool, and assigned bits using the Depth Profile tool.

Not terribly impressive, but a proof of concept, and I thought it might spark an idea for a project for one of you to try.

Next, ramp up to something more difficult..........
