Thread: Cursive Problem in Raster

    Default Cursive Problem in Raster

8 I'm trying to cut out a name in cursive using raster. The problem is the cut out looks like is trying to do it with a v-groove bit instead of a 1/8 straight cutting I'm selecting. How do I fix this? New to this.

I think what you are seeing a the V groove is the feathering around the text.

Not sure if Floyd addressed your issue or not can only hope, but another thing you could look at is in the cutout menu there is an inset feature that allows you to move the cutout line in or out depending on what you are in need of.

Delete the text after you have outlined it. Looks like you should Flip Cut also.

but as a novice, just so you understand, on your original project -select the text and select no feathering. Default for raster text is feathered. Then do as Dick says.
