    Default Pattern help

I have this pattern I've tried several ways to make but every time I try it it looks bad. Where the parts that should look flat their puffy. This is what I'm trying to make into a pattern.

Floyd, that is really cool. Didn't even think to go that route.

DoDadd1, because your image is black and white the depth is maxed out when imported into designer but that can be fixed by changing the black to a lighter grey if you wanted to change the height before importing.

For fun I saved to svg format and imported into blender to create an stl pattern from it. I also put it through ShaderMap for a different look. Finally, I imported the image into designer and made a pattern from it directly.

In order, image imported directly into designer, STL port, ShaderMap version.
