The only real differences I see is the OD of the bearings of which the 688rs bearing that is out there is the smaller of the two. Not sure if you know anyone with a lathe, this could be remedied fairly easy with a sleeve, and your running. The other option out there is if someone is parting a machine. The problem there is they normally sell the whole unit as LHR does.

Another issue I'm having is that LHR went outside OEM bearings to create their machines. For what they are getting for these bearings I would buy them and compare. Like I stated before just get sleeves made and life is good again.
If you look at picture #2 I think there is a sleeve already in place on your bearing. I can see something like a seam in that picture I believe.
