Make Pattern

I tried to "make pattern" To make a larger sign, but the system pops up with another person owns pattern. I was using a CW bought pattern,,,,why,,,what do I do to make this work

You are right , you cannot use the "Make Pattern" feature with a pattern made by someone else. The same applies if you have Pattern Editor, you cannot change or edit a pattern if someone else made it. Not exactly sure what you are trying to do so can't give you any suggestions. I think if you post your question in the "Pattern Help" or "Software Help" section you will get more responses. I think a lot of people do not look at the "Test Forum"
