Thread: Plaque for Commandant

  1. Default Plaque for Commandant

Thank you for those who helped me with patterns and paint.

Presented to the Commandant Marine Corps who was so gracious to attend our 50th year anniversary reunion. While there he presented the Navy Cross to relatives of a Marine we lost in 1968. 50 years later the Award finally comes in.

It was a marvelous time we had. Now I can claim my work hangs in Washington.

Again thank you to my Carvewright helpers out there.

Good to go, Marine! Outstanding work. I showed your plaque to my daughter who is in the Woman Marine Association. She is already wanting to know when I will make one for Lt Gen Carol Mutter (the first female 3 star in the U S forces). You have set the bar very high! Thank you for your service. I attended the RVN school of education in 66-67 and 69-70. Serial number 2164619. Ooh Rahhh
